- Log into the Hosturly Dedicated Panel.
- Click Hardware, then click on your desired dedicated server.
- In the bottom right corner, you will find an Operating System Reload box. Select the operating system you would like to install and click Reload Operating System.
- A popup will appear where you will have the ability to set the root password. Configure to your liking, click the deletion of data warning, and then click Reload Operating System.
- The server will begin the installation and will go through the following steps shown below. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 20 minutes for the operating system to install. If it takes longer, proceed to step 6. If it is successful, proceed to step 7.
- If the reinstall is ever stuck at a certain point, click the Progress bar stopped? text and the following popup will appear. Click Restart the installation and then the Stop Tracking button.
- Once installed, you will receive an email with the login information as shown below. You can then connect to it via SSH or RDP depending on the OS.
