Network Tests
Test Files: These are files you may download to test the download speed of our network. Keep in mind that this is also dependent on your own internet connection. Click on the respective file to download.
Host: Provides the rDNS record for your IP address.
MTR: Provides potential failings in your connection when en-route to our network.
Ping: Determines the latency or delay between your computer and our network.
Traceroute: Provides the real-time route in which your connection is sent to our network.
How to Use:
- Navigate to lg.chi.hosturly.com.
- Input the desired IP into the Host or IP Address field. If wanting to test your own IP, click on the bold IP text next in the Network Information section.
- From there, select the test in the dropdown box that you would like to initiate. Click the Run Test button to start the test. Depending on the test, it may take some time for the results to appear. The results will show as such depending on the selected test.
