Connect via VNC

Follow this guide to connect to your VPS through VNC. VNC is used when you lose access via SSH or RDP. It can also be used to identify issues when booting

Overview

If desiring to use VNC in a browser mode, proceed to the VNC HTML section of this guide.
If desiring to use VNC in a program mode, proceed to the VNC Program section of this guide.

Keep in mind that VNC may be slower than connecting through SSH or RDP as it is communicating your actions to a server and then inserting into your VPS session.

VNC HTML:

  1. Login to the Client Area.
  1. Click on the Services.

  1. Click on the respective VPS product to get to the management page.

  1. Scroll down to the Server Information section, then click Connect to the VPS via NVC.

  1. Then, click Launch HTML 5 VNC Client

  1. Once clicked, a new window will open with your VPS.

VNC Program:

  1. Download VNC Viewer or any VNC program you prefer.
  1. Login to the Client Area.
  1. Click on the Services.

  1. Click on the respective VPS product to get to the management page.

  1. Scroll down to the Server Information section, then click Connect to the VPS via NVC.

  1. The VNC IP and Port you want to save as you will be inputting into VNC Viewer.

  1. Open up VNC Viewer and enter the information as such according to your VNC address. Once inserted, click the ENTER key.

  1. A popup will prompt you to accept a security warning and enter in your password as shown below. Click OK.

  1. You are now connected to your VPS.
