- Login to the Client Area.
- Click on the Services.
- Click on the respective VPS product to get to the management page.
- Now, proceed to Settings → Change Password.
- Please enter in a password that contains a capital letter, number, and special character.
ex. YadHds!KLKJ24)
- Once done, click Change Password. A dialogue box will now appear.
- In order for the password change to take effect, you must SHUTDOWN the VPS from the client area or VPS panel. You cannot shutdown from within the operating system. To shutdown, please click the GRAY power button. A dialogue box will appear confirming the shutdown.
- Now, power back on the VPS with the Green power button. A dialogue box will appear confirming the startup.
- Now, your password should be changed and you can attempt to login with the respective root (Linux) or Administrator (Windows) username.
