Adding DNS records using cPanel
Follow this guide to learn how to create DNS records like A records, CNAME records and MX records on cPanel
Accessing the Zone Editor
- Log into cPanel — follow this guide if you are not sure how to do that
- Once you click that, you will be brought to Hosturly’s cPanel

- To edit the DNS records associated with your web hosting package, go to the Domains section, then select Zone Editor

- From there, you can select your domain by clicking Manage

Adding new records
Typically DNS records take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the internet. You can check your DNS status via MXToolbox
- Select the Add Record button
- Once you do that, you can specify the following:
- Name
- TTL
- Type of record
- Record
Once you enter that information, click Save Record to add the DNS record to your domain
